St. Louis Cardinals 1973-1979
During these years I was just starting out as a photographer in my home town of St. Louis and magically I was able to secure a pass to shoot speculatively for the Baseball Cardinals and United Press International as a stringer. This eventually led to becoming a freelance field/action photographer and complete access to team facilities. Included throughout this collection of approximately 5000 negatives & transparencies (mostly 35mm b&w) baseball legends such as Lou Brock, Bob Gibson, Joe Torre, Red Schoendienst, Stan Musial, Hank Aaron, Pete Rose and many others are found.
