Coatings were created entirely in my NYC studio, they are an extension of the Scapes portflios, except I was interested in the effect of adding incongruous layers of materials to force different emotions reactions. Several were accomplished by using a trapeze which I had installed from the studio ceiling.

All of the Coatings images are large format (8x10 b&w or color) approximately 300 negatives & transparencies (26 concepts)- Sinar Bron view cameras.
