Off the Street Club 1994-1996
I was asked by the Chicago advertising agency's organization which supported this oldest boys and girls club in Chicago to create a short film and still images depicting the children in 1994.This led to a three year relationship in which I started a photography club and mentored interested kids through studio lessons and field trips using equipment donated to the, at that time, 96 year old organization, existing in one of the most desolate and dangerous areas of Chicago. (we also had fun sometimes!)
