Untethered Analog film era archives : 1973-1999
This is a very large portfolio of film and sizes (approximately 6000 35mm, 2 1/4, 4x5 & 8x10 negatives & transparencies) of print fashion in NYC and Chicago studios. I was shooting fashion for clients that were using the images for the back pages of he NY Times or Washington post and this is why I learned to use the larger format cameras to improve the grain quality.
I had a huge 8x10 enlarger placed in the basement of my Thomas st studio..the only place it could fit because we had to take out the concrete to gain the height required for me to hand make these large prints. (probably still there?)
